Burma Love Downtown
Set in historic Mint Plaza, our Downtown flagship pairs San Francisco's industrial character with the warmth of Burmese hospitality. Three distinct event spaces — Ruby Room, Club Room, and Outdoor Patio — plus full buyout options. All meals from our family-style prix-fixe menus.
Ruby Room
A jewel-toned hideaway tucked beside the bar, the Ruby Room layers padded banquettes, gilded statuary, and a hand-laid mandala floor inlay beneath the warm glow of brass pendant lamps. Tables sit independently for smaller groupings or join end-to-end for a long-table feel — our most-requested room for company dinners, engagement parties, and milestone moments.
Club Room
Perched on the second floor above the main dining room, the Club Room is our most cinematic space — anchored by a hand-painted mural of General Aung San and the storied year 1948, framed by warm copper ceilings and bulb pendants. Recently refreshed with new oak tables, sculpted dining chairs, and reclaimed-wood floors.
Outdoor Patio
Burma Love's enclosed patio at Mint Plaza — overhead string lighting, radiant heaters, an optional mobile bar, and a vine-covered pergola. Highly versatile, it accommodates buffet-style dining, family-style seated dinners, or cocktail receptions for up to 100 guests.
Full Buyout
The full ground floor and patio combined — main dining room, Ruby Room, and Outdoor Patio as one event. Family-style dinner with reception flow, plated multi-course service, or a roaming cocktail event with chef stations. Add the second-floor Club Room for up to 200 seated total.
Burma Love Valencia
Lively and warm on Valencia Street — banquettes, communal tables, and a mural-lined dining room that feels right for the neighborhood. We host large-party reservations in the main dining room and welcome full buyouts after hours. Meals from our family-style prix-fixe menus.

Burma Love Chase Center
Situated in the Thrive City neighborhood, our venue features two beautiful outdoor patios, each accommodating 12 to 35 guests for a semi-private experience. Large parties enjoy our curated family-style prix-fixe menus — suited for team offsites, business dinners, and festive celebrations alike. Private events are scheduled around the Chase Center calendar; talk to our events team about availability and custom packages.

Teakwood
Cocktails, coastal Burmese small plates, and a softer, more sceney room in Hayes Valley. Book the semi-private East Dining Room, or take the whole space for the night — prix-fixe menus served family-style or as a buffet, with bar packages built around our signature cocktails.
East Dining Room
Our semi-private space, sectioned off from the main dining room to give your guests a dedicated room while keeping the energy of the restaurant. Natural wood walls, a custom map mural, and contemporary lighting; large windows bring natural light during the day. Designed for seated dinner service or buffet style dining.
Full Buyout
The whole room — bar, lounge, and dining — yours for the night. Three weeks' notice preferred. Ideal for launch parties, milestone birthdays, and after-hours receptions.

What's included in the food & beverage minimum?
The minimum represents the spend on food and drinks before tax and service charge. It does not include the room rental fee, the 20% service charge, the admin fee, or sales tax. If your group's spend falls below the minimum, the difference is added as a room charge.
Is the room rental refundable?
The room rental fee is non-refundable once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid.
What is the deposit and cancellation policy?
A 20% deposit is required to secure a room booking. Please allow 72 hours' notice if a cancellation is needed. Late cancellations within 72 hours are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the food & beverage minimum.
Can we customize the menu?
Yes. We offer a range of curated prix-fixe menus served family-style, plus chef tasting menus for buyouts. Our chef is happy to accommodate dietary restrictions including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free preparations with advance notice. Custom menu requests are welcomed for full buyouts and off-site catering events.
Can we bring our own wine or cake?
Corkage fee is $30/bottle. Outside celebration cakes and dessert are welcome — a $5/person dessert fee applies. Other outside food and beverage is not permitted.
Are decorations allowed?
Tasteful decorations are welcome — florals, table runners, place cards, signage. We ask that nothing be affixed to the walls, murals, or fixtures, and that confetti, glitter, and open flames (other than approved candles) not be used.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
The Main Dining Room, Outdoor Patio, and Ruby Room are accessible from street level. The Club Room is located on the second floor and is accessible by elevator.
Where can guests park?
There is no dedicated parking on Mint Plaza. The closest options are the Fifth & Mission Garage and street parking on Mission and Market. The Powell Street BART/Muni station is a short walk away.
Do you cater off-site, and how far do you travel?
Yes — our team caters across the Bay Area. Travel and delivery fees are quoted based on distance and the level of service required. For events outside San Francisco, please share your venue address with your inquiry so we can include logistics in the proposal.
What is the lead time for events?
For private dining we recommend reserving at least three weeks in advance. For full buyouts and off-site catering, ten business days is the preferred minimum, though we'll always do our best to accommodate shorter timelines.
